Haley Schwarz is the owner of Ally Social Media. Schwarz has experience with social media, marketing and advertising for small businesses, non-profits and professional boards, as well as event planning and management for corporate events, conferences and non-profit fundraisers.
Schwarz has also been involved with community awareness and fundraising efforts with The College of Agriculture, Food and Natural Resources for The Food Bank’s Float Your Boat Event, the North Village Arts District First Friday events and Farmers and Artisans Market, Rock Bridge Elementary Chicken BBQ, True North including the Purse Passion Event and Little Black Dress Event, as well as the Masquerade Ball benefitting Rainbow House.
Ally Social Media was started in 2011 to collaborate with small businesses and non-profits to effectively shape their online presence, leverage the dynamic world of social media and creatively communicate with their customers, prospects and the community at large.
Prior to launching Ally Social Media, Schwarz served as the director of communications strategy for Knorr Marketing Communications. In this position, Schwarz had responsibilities for strategic marketing communications solutions for clients including writing, design, media relations and event management.
Schwarz received a bachelor’s degree in human development and family studies from University of Missouri-Columbia and a master’s degree of education in counseling from Stephens College. Schwarz and her husband, Tom, reside in Columbia with their sons, Sam and Jack.
